DNA Health is a panel of single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) selected for their established links to nutrient metabolism, methylation, oxidative defence, inflammation, bone health, and chronic-disease risk. The test reads variants across genes such as MTHFR, COMT, GST, SOD2, and APOE, then reports your genotype alongside the functional consequence of each variant. Results are stable across your lifetime and do not change with diet or lifestyle, which makes this test a one-time investment that informs every protocol we build for you afterwards.
Your DNA is the operating system you were born with. Some of its settings make you naturally good at certain things and less good at others, like clearing toxins, processing folate, or managing inflammation. DNA Health reads the settings that matter most for everyday wellbeing and tells us where your body needs more support, where it is already efficient, and where you should be a little more careful.
DNA results shape how we choose your nutrients (methylated B-vitamins versus standard forms, dosage of antioxidants, sensitivity to caffeine and alcohol), how aggressively we push detoxification protocols, and which long-term risks deserve preventive attention. It is the foundation under every personalised protocol that follows, which is why we usually run it first.

Functional testing at FunctionAlps is used to guide nutritional optimisation within ASCA and EMR scope. It is not a medical diagnostic tool. When findings warrant medical evaluation, we coordinate with a referring physician.
